Born from the friendship of Chicken Lea, Hurdle Lea, and Mike Shuler, Smoke on the Water spent nearly two decades as a fixture in Downtown Greenville—serving up delicious BBQ and upscale Southern dishes, live music, and hospitality with heart.

We are now open at 64 Beacon Drive (11/6/2026). Every inch of our new location was carefully curated by Mike and the team—from the rustic Southern details to expanded kitchen space and a layout designed with both our dine-in guests, private parties, and catering clients in mind.  Our new home also includes an outdoor space designed to feel like a relaxed oasis—complete with live music, casual seating, and room for families to gather. With thoughtful landscaping, lighting, and a seamless connection to the bar, it’s a natural extension of the Smoke experience.

The address has changed, but the soul of Smoke is the same.
